The Pharmaceuticals Pricing Board held horizon scanning hearings for pharmaceutical companies in December 2025. Interest in the events was high, and not all companies could be invited. Due to the wide interest, the Pharmaceuticals Pricing Board will organise new events already in spring 2026. The dates for the spring 2026 consultation events are 5 May 2026 (approx. 09:00–12:00) and, if needed, 26 May 2026 (approx. 09:00–12:00).
At the event, companies will have the opportunity to present to the chairs of the Pricing Board and the expert group, members of the Pricing Board and the secretariat information regarding:
- new medicinal products under development that are likely to enter the Finnish market in the coming years and for which reimbursement will be sought
- possible new indications intended for reimbursement for medicinal products already on the Finnish market
The event will not address products that are already in the national application process, nor is it intended as guidance for preparing reimbursement or pricing applications. Information submitted with the registration and presentation will be used solely internally by the chairs, members and secretariat of the Pharmaceuticals Pricing Board.
Companies interested in the event are requested to register with the Board’s secretariat at hila.stm@gov.fi by 10 March 2026. When registering, please submit a brief description of the proposed presentation content and the likely timetable for seeking reimbursement. Please also provide information on the persons participating in the consultation and the contact details of the responsible contact person.
The presentation event will be organised as an in‑person meeting in the Government premises. Companies are asked to limit the number of participants to persons relevant to the presentation. If necessary, a possibility for remote participation can be arranged. Please indicate this need when registering.
The duration of the presentation is a maximum of 30 minutes per company, including possible discussion. A maximum of 10 consultation slots are available. Based on the registrations, the priority will be given to matters/products that are most topical from the perspective of the Finnish pharmaceutical market. The Pharmaceuticals Pricing Board will notify the companies that have registered of the selections by 31 March 2026 at the latest.
